New Season – Winter 2016
Junior and senior dodgeball! New season starting soon.
Teams and individuals welcome
No experience necessary
Barwon Dodgeball will be starting a new season soon. All welcome.
Time:
Juniors: 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm
Seniors: 6:15pm to 10pm
Where: Court 4 (Gymbaroo room) at BVAC (Belmont Common)
Cost:
Juniors: $8 per child or $70 per term (11 weeks)
Seniors: $60 per team
Barwon Dodgeball will be kicking off its new Junior competition on the 14th of April. Contact us for more info.

WOMEN’S ONLY TRAINING SESSION
WOMEN’S ONLY TRAINING SESSION
Barwon Dodgeball Association is getting behind the Girls, make your move campaign by hosting a free girls only training session.
This session will be hosted by Rachel Dawson, Vice-Captain of the Australian team 2016. Rachel is passionate about women’s dodgeball, and loves teaching new players about the game. All welcome with no experience necessary.

Australian Women Bring Home Silver
Barwon Dodgeball had 3 members represent Australia in the World Dodgeball Championships in Las Vegas in August.
Rowena Chapman #35, Claire Dew #2 and our President Rachel Dawson #27 competed against USA, Canada, Malaysia, Las Vegas and Hong Kong in a 2 day tournament on the 15th and 16th of August.
The Australian Women’s team trained hard for months for this very moment. They came home with the silver medal in a tight and thrilling match.
Barwon Dodgeball is proud to be a part of such a wonderful group of people from all over the world. Look out for the World Championships to be held in Melbourne in 2016!
Barwon Dodgeball Members to Represent Australia in Las Vegas WDBF International Championships
The Australian Dodgeball Federation has announced the Mens and Womens teams that will represent Australia in Las Vegas this August to battle the likes of USA, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand and more.
While we had several unlucky male members narrowly miss out on selection for the Mens team, we are proud to throw our support behind and 3 of the great female dodgeball talents of this wide brown land of ours, with BDA President and dodgeball superstar; Rachel Dawson, multi-talented rising star; Claire Dew, and International Dodgeball Legend; Rowena Chapman, all making the Womens team.
Barwon Dodgeball wins Wellington Invitational
Barwon Dodgeball took a highly skilled team to the first Trans Tasman dodgeball tournament which was hosted by Wellington on the 22nd of November. It was a great day filled with great people, great dodgeball matches and not to mention the venue was excellent. Barwon Dodgeball became undefeated champions of the mixed grade! They won 11 game straight to win the championship. We want to say a big thanks to RMIT University for supporting us!
